Danger lurks in the glamorous world of millionaires and playgirls.

From the exclusive slopes of St. Moritz to the plush casinos of Monte Carlo, Diana de Revillon lives the luxurious life of a golden girl out for thrills. But underneath that stunning façade, Diana has a more daring identity.

As a secret investigator for a giant corporation, Diana’s latest assignment is to recover nine priceless stolen paintings. Her quest brings her into the glittering world of mysterious billionaire David Mendel, who falls for her party-girl cover. He invites her aboard his yacht for a sumptuous Mediterranean cruise where Diana meets Tom Estevez, a man with a job that parallels her own. Tom suspects that Mendel aims to trade the stolen art for an even more valuable cache—a huge shipment of cocaine.

But amidst the diamond-studded glamour of Mendel’s yacht, Diana can’t deny the feelings of fatal attraction overwhelming her. For even as she knows she must expose David Mendel, she finds herself perilously drawn to him. . . .

About the Author:
Parris Afton Bonds is the mother of five sons and the author of more than forty published novels. She is the co-founder and first vice president of Romance Writers of America as well as the co-founder of Southwest Writers Workshop, all of which nudged her closer to being committed to bedlam, which she has managed to avoid so far by a pretense at sanity.Declared by ABC's Nightline as one of the three bestselling authors of romantic fiction, Parris Afton Bonds has been interviewed by such luminaries as Charlie Rose and featured in major newspapers and magazines as well as published in more than a dozen languages. A New York Times bestselling author, she donates her time to teaching creative writing to both grade-school children and female inmates—both of which are captive audiences. The Parris Award was established in her name by the Southwest Writers Workshop to honor a published writer who has given outstandingly of time and talent to other writers. Prestigious recipients of the Parris Award include Tony Hillerman and the Pulitzer nominee Norman Zollinger.
From Publishers Weekly:
Security International agent Diana de Revillon is no ordinary detective. Blonde, lissome and a member of Europe's jet set, she finds her undercover work a meaningful alternative to life in the platinum playpen. Her latest assignment, however, may prove her undoing. All the tracks of a too-coincidental art heist and an enormous cocaine deal lead to David Mendel, an attractive and mysterious billionaire. Even while Diana flirts with David on the slopes of St. Moritz and the racetrack at Deauville, both realize that something more profound than a superficial society seduction is occurring. When David invites Diana to join him on a cruise on his yacht, is it for love or for death? Like a good travel agent, Bonds knows where to send her readers and which details of life among the idle rich to point out. If the itinerary seems too predictable and the characters too obvious at times, it's still a fun trip.
