Nancy Holder has written many Buffy and Angel projects for Simon & Schuster. She is currently working on a quartet of teen novels about two rival witch families living in the Pacific Northwest. An avid sleeper, she heads a household consisting of a fabulous daughter named Belle, a demonic little dog named Dot, two haughty cat sisters named David (!) and Sasha, and a mated pair of finches named Zoe and Bekah. She laughs (in her sleep) at the term "spare time."

Grade 8 Up-Angel the vampire and his surreal cohorts set out to save one of their compatriots from the clutches of the evil Marianna in this convoluted series entry based on the television spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The plot and characters will be of interest only to those who are already familiar with the previous books or with the television series. The story does not stand on its own.
