A New York Times Bestseller

Left at the altar a year before, Broadway bombshell Yancey Harrington Braxton stages her comeback as a recording star. But has she forgiven ex-fiancé John Basil Henderson, or does she still need to even the score? As Yancey's star rises, she fears someone may be after her.

Review:
One of the guilty pleasures of the reading world, E. Lynn Harris's novels are filled with gorgeous, glamorous, A-list African-Americans who will do whatever it takes to get their way. You don't want to know anyone in a Harris novel. The talented Yancey Braxton, who was left at the altar in the previous book in this series (Not a Day Goes By), moves from New York to L.A. with hopes of transforming her theatrical success into a bigtime musical career. And if her first pop single happens to expose her bisexual ex-fiancé Basil Henderson to ridicule, so much the better. Basil himself claims to be looking for the mother of his children--a good woman, in other words--while continuing his nonstop sexual conquests on both sides of the fence. He meets his match in Bart Dunbar, a hunky gay man with a mean streak the length of the Mississippi. When Basil dismisses Bart after a couple nights of steamy sex, Bart finds a way to make himself memorable. The best-written and most wicked of Harris's novels, Any Way the Wind Blows will keep you up all night turning pages and being grateful for a quiet life. --Regina Marler

Now, in ANY WAY THE WIND BLOWS, Basil, good-looking gadabout and homme fatale is back at the top of his game (razzle dazzling both the women and the men) and hanging out with his new friend, and rogue's rogue Bartholemew (aka "Black Bart,")a handsome hunk of a man who stands to make Basil look like a choir boy. All is well until Basil's picture perfect life starts to unravel... Is someone out to get the unsinkable John Basil Henderson?

Back in the mix are possible suspects: the mother daughter diva duo of YANCEY HARRINGTON BRAXTON, brainy Broadway bombshell and Basil's jilted fiance, and AVA "Mama Dearest" BRAXTON, a diva's diva and a second-rate show girl housed in the body of an aging supermodel?still waiting for her close-up.

Is it Ava or Yancey? or one of E. Lynn Harris's fabulous new creations...

With just the right amount of wickedness, love and compassion, E. Lynn Harris's masterful storytelling and delicious plot twists will have fans and newcomers alike frantically turning pages trying to find the answer to the ultimate question? Will the wily (and naughtily wonderful) Basil finally be undone?
