Wilbur Waited - Hardcover

Ages 3-5. Wilbur is a little tiger who needs a little attention from his parents--but they're too busy with the new baby. How can Mother give Wilbur a ride on her back when she has to give the baby a bath? And Father is too busy cleaning the den to climb a tree. Even when Wilbur tries to amuse himself with his friend Hippo, he gets into trouble for making too much noise. But when Wilbur hears his mother singing a lullaby with the words, "Wilbur wants to cuddle you," he realizes that he wants to be as involved with his sister as his parents are. Although sibling rivalry is a theme that has been reworked many times and in many ways, this book gets right to the heart of the way a small child thinks.
