Written by a Roman Catholic college chaplain with 25 years' experience in campus ministry, this book challenges the idea that Roman Catholic students have largely ceased practicing their faith. Yet the author also shows that some of those most active as students become disaffected after graduation, when they find that American parishes do not meet their needs. Some of the issues Hunt discusses are campus life; behavior, morality, and sexuality; parents and family; growth and decision; prayer, spirituality, and the Bible; Catholic identity; and campus ministry. He concludes with ten guidelines for facilitating the postcollege development of faith. Although it focuses on Roman Catholic experience, this book will be valuable to other religious groups as well.
