From Library Journal:
This book by an obstetrician-gynecologist and two obstetricians contains plain, concise information on 14 gynecological and five plastic surgeries. An introductory chapter gives general information on anatomy and physiology, second opinions, etc. Gynecological and obstetrical topics covered include abortion; benign ovarian tumors and breast lumps; various cancers; D & C; ectopic pregnancy; and laparoscopy and sterilization. Face lifts, suction lipectomy, and breast reduction and augmentation are included under plastic surgery. Each chapter describes symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, postoperative care, etc. The book is most valuable for the "Questions To Ask Your Doctor" in each chapter, and for its comprehensible, nontechnical language.
