Radiation oncology offered me an opportunity to treat patients and their families at a critical time in their lives when they are vulnerable and desperately in need of a helping hand. Throughout my medical career I have had the privilege to meet some amazing and inspirational people who taught me a lot about life, how to live it and how to leave it.
