About the Author:

Maria Luisa Dy-Liacco Marin is a teacher. She has taught in the Philippines for over 17 years before coming to the US to pursue her teaching career. This is her initial venture into writing for children which focuses on promoting environmental awareness, conservation and protection for the world's smallest primates, the Philippine Tarsier.
