About the Author:
Mark Moskowitz was born in California, grew up primarily in Philadelphia and lived for 15 years in Israel where he built his first garden in the desert. It was in Isreal that he also discovered the beauty and use of stone walls in gardens to make a more natural and earthy setting. Thomas and Martina Reinhardt approached Mark to become a partner in their gardening business, after several years and several beautiful gardens they asked Mark to write this book. They supplied the beautiful pictures. Today, Thomas and Martina Reinhardt have retired to Italy and Mark continues to create beautiful garden masterpieces in the Hamptons of Long Island, New York.
