A novel by an Oxford-educated Ugandan anthropologist, also published as Africa Answers Back. Politically, Nyabongo was a pan-Africanist who collaborated with African American scholar, author, and activist W.E.B. DuBois. An obscure but significant African novel from the first half of the 20th century.
